Some marriage proposals are worth filming. Kane Brown’s wasn’t. He popped the question to Katelyn in the middle the night, and she had no idea it was coming. She talked about it in a recent interview.
Quote, “Kane’s a very spontaneous person. When he has a feeling, or he knows for sure . . . he goes for it. He went [ring] shopping with his nana and his mom.
“[He] showed up at my house at 3:00 a.m. . . at my parents’ house . . . while I was sleeping, and proposed to me. I thought I was dreaming. I had no idea. I woke up the next morning engaged.”
(This was in an interview with Katie Neal on Audacy.com.)
Here’s a great tie-in to that story. Kane and Katelyn’s duet “Thank God” has hit #1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. They’re only the second married couple to do that. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill did it with “It’s Your Love” in 1997.
