It’s Halloween season, which means it’s also peak HORROR MOVIE season . . . whether you like it or not. And everyone knows SOMEONE who insists they can’t handle a scary horror movie.
There’s a poll out on horror movie-watching, and fans and non-fans were asked WHEN they prefer watching horror movies: At night, or during the daytime.
And surprisingly, the people who dislike horror movies are more likely to want to watch them at NIGHT. While horror fans prefer to watch them during the DAY.
So, maybe it’s less about people being too scared to watch them at night, and more about them needing to be in the mood. While horror movie fans will watch them ANY time of day.
The poll also showed that of all movie genres, horror movies are the most DIVISIVE . . . with 25% loving them, 24% liking them, 23% hating them, and 22% disliking them. No other genre was that evenly split.
