If you’ve been spending your time in self-isolation scrolling through apps like Instagram or TikTok, you’re well aware that country artists have been finding creative (and funny!) ways to spend their time at home. For some of our favorite stars, that means playing live concerts from their home studios or creating mini Tiger King music videos, but for Luke Bryan, the additional family time became an opportunity to play a joke on his wife, Caroline Boyer.
On Monday, April 6, Luke took to Instagram to share a video of him driving up behind his wife, who seems to be enjoying a peaceful bike ride in the country. In the clip, he says, “She’s about to get hit with the train horn and she doesn’t know,” before blasting a loud horn sound from his vehicle.
Upon hearing the honk, Caroline bounces out of her bicycle seat, veers off the road, and falls to the ground in dramatic fashion while Luke is heard laughing in the background.
As with most of Luke’s posts, his followers had a lot to say. One commenter wrote “MARRIAGE GOALS LOL,” while another added, “My stomach hurts from laughing so dang hard.”
Although, some did note that it was “mean” and “so funny, yet too terrible.”
Fortunately for Caroline, she knows how to laugh at her hubby’s jokes, and from the looks of her laughing on the ground at the end, there were no hard feelings. We just hope she finds a way to get him back with a prank of her own.
