If this happened on April Fools’ Day, people might know it’s a prank. But any other time of year, you’ll raise some eyebrows . . .
A woman in Muskego, Wisconsin named Molly Salentine was at work late last month, and asked her neighbor if he’d let her dogs out.
He said sure, and he knew she’d see him on her security cameras. So he decided to have some fun with it by dressing up in a PANDA costume.
Molly watched it later and thought it was funny. But someone else who was watching it nearby thought he was a BURGLAR and called 911.
They said a giant TEDDY BEAR was robbing someone’s house. And by the time the guy walked back out in his costume, there were HALF-A-DOZEN cop cars pulling up.
Luckily they realized he wasn’t a burglar, and that was the end of it. But they just released the 911 audio.
We don’t know the guy’s name, because he’s done every interview in the panda costume. He says he bought it for $125, and he’s been trying to get his money’s worth. So he wears it whenever he can, and recently picked up his daughter from school in it.
