Cody Jinks fans lost their minds when Cody Jinks walked on stage last night in Huntsville, Alabama! Fans were already excited about Cody playing with Jamey Johnson and Sunny Sweeney but the real excitement or you could say confusion came when Cody Jinks showed everyone he shaved his beard! The internet went wild, fans began shaving their beards and even a few decided to stop being fans. Well one things for sure…. I wasn’t thinking of Cody’s beard the first time I heard “Loud and Heavy” and I sure wasn’t thinking of it every time he made me feel every song at his shows as if I was seeing the likes of Merle or Waylon in their prime! I also didn’t notice it when ever he showed me what an amazing, remarkable human being Cody Jinks was… especially to his fans. I will admit, he does look quite a bit different. Yes, it will take some getting used to. But does it change his music? Does it make him any less of a person? No, of course not. I think the saddest part of all this is the fact that Cody Jinks fans all over are shaving their beards now. As a beard lover myself, I am scared to see just what’s been lying under all these beards. I say we keep casting no stones and always remember the colors in the grey! Flock On!
