It all started with a phone call to my buddy Crago. It was an innocent enough question. “What size shoes do you need?” The reply was one you never expect to hear from your buddy. “Are they open or closed toe?” The answer was “closed toe” complete with four inch heals. I know at this point you are wondering “What kind of freak show has he got himself into this time?” It is not!.
Walk –A-Mile is fundraiser for Battered Persons Advocacy that raises awareness to the sad plight of too many women. Ill fitting shoes. Just kidding. It’s actually Sexual Abuse and it’s a very serious topic. So this Friday at 4pm the BCI Bad Asses will don women’s high heels (do they make them for men?) and walk a mile downtown to make a statement. The abuse needs to stop here!
So if you see a group of men in high heels walking around Friday, give them a smile and a wave. They may be silly but they care.
